Kate has had a keen interest in sports rehabilitation and sees a variety of professional equestrians, including jockeys, grooms and leisure riders.

Kate loves treating the over 65s, and has the specialist skills required to help them to stay well and active into retirement. Whether that is managing arthritis or rehabilitation following a joint replacement or just keeping stiffness at bay.

Kate enjoys treating ‘your average Joe or Joanne’, whether they have work-related aches and pains, persistent niggles or wish to improve mobility in order to take up a sport or hobby; she works with each individual to find the best possible solution and, due to her own history of injury and back problems, has a personal understanding of the challenges that people can face.

Kate is enjoying her role as clinical lead for West Berkshire Injury Clinic and working with the other therapists in maximising their potential and improving standards.

Kate is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)

My journey into sports massage started from a place of genuine passion for the active, outdoor lifestyle. Having spent years on the yard with the horses and out in all weathers with my dogs, I’ve always been fascinated by how our bodies handle the physical demands we put on them. I am currently completing my Level 5 diploma with the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM), and for me, this isn’t just a qualification—it’s the start of a fulfilling career dedicated to helping people feel better. I know exactly what it’s like to push through the ‘stiff days’ or ignore a nagging ache, and I want to change that narrative for my clients.

OWNER & SPORTS THERAPIST

Having played rugby for over 40 years, Andrew understands the importance of a fit and healthy body and the crucial role that all healthcare professionals plan keeping us fit, and injury free.

His work with sports teams, individual sportspeople and the general public has given him extensive ‘hands-on’ experience dealing with injuries and ‘aches and pains’ (sports related or otherwise). He also has an interest working with people in chronic pain and suffering with conditions like Multiple Sclerosis, Fybromyalgia and of late, Long Covid, adapting his treatment plan accordingly.

When not at the clinic, Andrew works closely with Berkshire RFU, and Hungerford Rugby Clubs and enjoys cycling, running and singing (having performed in a number of operas, operettas and musicals) which led him to study vocal massage.

As a qualified teacher, Andrew also offers training classes to other Sports and Massage Therapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors to help them gain their relevant CPD points.
